Toronto Jewish Free Loan Cassa (G’milath Chasodim) Association was formed with the mandate to Help People to Help Themselves by offering interest-free loans. Our goal is to provide interest-free loans to needy individuals in the Jewish community of the Greater Toronto Area.

Based on the Jewish value of G’milath Chasodim, “acts of loving kindness,” our Association helps a broad range of needy members of our community to meet their educational and personal needs and to create their own business opportunities. Our important work promotes self-sufficiency while ensuring an individual’s dignity.

Our numbers show the diversity and reach of Toronto Jewish Free Loan Cassa. We are proud to have over 560 active loans, with a total value of almost $1.7 million dollars, and are grateful for the support of UJA Federation of Greater Toronto and United Way Toronto.
